The game features an intelligent multiplayer mode, which allows kids to compete with others in the same grade level as well as across different grades, either on a single iPad or on different devices.

The game offers a wide range of skills to choose from, spanning Grades K to 5, with over 60 skills available. Monster Math - Duels offers three exciting modes for math duels:

1. Nearby Mode: Kids can connect with other players over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth for multiplayer challenges.

Similar to its predecessor, Monster Math, Monster Math - Duels covers over 40 math skills within addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, including times tables, factors, multiples, and prime numbers. Geared towards Grades 1-5, the game's content aligns with the Common Core Math standards. In addition, the skills can be customized to suit your child's aptitude using the standard skill presets.

The game's parent section presents a simple and intuitive toggle switch that allows you to select either advanced or basic skills.
